Visiting a weekend service

We'd love to have your family join us this weekend!  Here are some frequently asked questions about Building Zone:

1. Where should I go for Building Zone?

Enter the building on the 1st or 2nd floor and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.  You'll see the Building Zone Welcome Center in the center of the 3rd floor lobby.  A Welcome Center volunteer will help you register your child and find the appropriate classroom. On your first visit, please come a few minutes early to give us time to welcome and register your child.

2. What is the weekend Building Zone program like?

For kids ages 2 and under, we provide age-appropriate care in a safe setting. We work hard to ensure that coming to church is a positive experience for kids so that he or she senses the love of Christ through the care of our workers.

For ages 3 through 5th grade, we offer age-appropriate programming including worship, Bible teaching, small group discussion and interactive crafts and activities. We also provide kids with snacks so please be sure to let us know if your child has any food sensitivities or allergies when you check in.

3. Will my child be safe?

Yes!  We work hard to provide a safe and secure classroom environment. Our workers are regularly screened and trained to ensure they give the best care possible to your kids.  Our registration process is an electronic check-in system that generates parent receipts so you can safely and securely drop off and pick up your children.  During the registration process, all families are given a Family ID # that is displayed on the bottom of the video screens in the Worship Center if the parent is needed.  Each child will receive an adhesive nametag with the Family ID # and any pertinent allergy information.

4. What do I do if my child may be sick or isn’t feeling well?

We realize that children are exposed to colds and can exchange illness very easily. For this reason, we work hard to make Building Zone a healthy place for everyone. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we can't accept a child with signs of sickness (such as a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, etc.) We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children.

5. What other programs are available for my child?

We invite your child to participate in our mid-week program called Kids Club, where kids learn more about Jesus, memorize Scripture verses, and engage in games with their friends. Click here to learn more about Kids Club, running parallel to all of our adult mid-week programs.
